What do you want to see on this blog?

Darllenwch y dudalen hon yn Gymraeg

questions and ideas pic - cropped.jpgThis blog brings you updates about the new curriculum as it evolves, and case studies and examples of how schools are experimenting with the new model.

It’s also here to de-mystify the development process as it happens, and to show how complementary education reforms will support the curriculum so that it rolls out successfully.

Is it doing that job for you? Or are we missing something?

This is what we’re likely to cover in the Autumn:

  • Feedback on the draft curriculum – how it will influence refinement
  • Innovation Schools – how they are trialling and testing the curriculum
  • Assessment – how it’s evolving
  • Professional learning – development of the ‘common programme’ and projects underway with our Universities

If you have thoughts on this or suggestions for other items, please let us know. If you would like to write or film an item, again let us know and we’ll get in touch. The address is CurriculumCorrespond@gov.wales.

Thank you for your thoughts and for spending time with the Curriculum for Wales blog.

I would like to see videos of key stage 2 teaching and learning in action showing the pedagogy of curriculum for wales for example, pupil participation, pupils leading learning, pupil reflection and review sessions and ‘missions’ or similar
