The Literacy Area on Hwb continues to grow with new resources like:

A playlist with teachers from primary, secondary and special schools across Wales talking about approaches to reading;

A useful document to share with your parents and carers, which provides them with help on learning to read and how to support their children; and

An explainer for practitioners on reading in the Curriculum for Wales, contains useful information and links to supporting materials, resources and case studies which are linked to progression in reading. These are organised into 4 parts: prereading, beginning reading, fluent reading and reading with growing sophistication.

As well as a whole new section to help you find professional learning resources that support learning and teaching literacy.
